BftC: Reloaded On the Move...

The BftC: Reloaded is on the move... Really.

The BftC was a project made by Me and my Brother Sam.
And still it holds the title of most downloaded Mini-AoS.

It is great, exceptionally great. But now it's time to move on.

BftC Reloaded was a step further, taking everything at large, yet not losing the connection with Classic BftC. The Game's pace is still fast, almost incredible. As I have tried to maintain it. The major problem was the map's Physical Size. It it was big, None would bother to get it, and if it was too small, then people would ignore it. I is affordable now - Almost 1.5 MB.

The challenge was maintaining the pace, and it is definitely big challenge as the Map offered pretty big terrain, Unlike Uber-Small of Classic BftC's. The balance element was required, so adjusting the factors concerned was truly a brain-eating stuff. The Game took a whole new dimension, with Ultimates shifted to be learned at Level 10 instead of Level 6. And having Multiple - Twice the usual levels of Regular abilities. (Regular abilities having 6 levels and Ultimates having 2 levels)

The Balance was considered too sneak. It was great fun working on that, even now the work progresses, though at incredible slow rate, but steady. Right now, there are some finished Characters, while some are under Work. But the Map is playable.

The link that binds the map to BftC is the theme - Alliance Vs. Horde and the items. The items were completely picked from BftC. And the Superchargers too.

The Map now has a few Heroes - Oni Orc Battlemaster, Bloodfiend, Scarab Lord, Rune Mage, Tauren Chieftain and Shadow Rogue. Out of these Bloodfiend and Shadow Rogue are incomplete yet, but they will be completed soon.

Stay Tuned, I'll report the latest news.

New Map Pack in works... The Warcraft N!

If you remember the N game published on Shockwave engine as freeware, then you know what I am talking about.

I have started to make a Map Pack which will play as N.

N was a classic Ninja Game of Stealth and Skill. It was a tile-based Platformer. The only aim was opening the door and advancing to the next level. Collecting Gold gives extra time to complete the game.

What I am planning is with Warcraft, now being a wonderfully moddable 3d engine, I ca do a lot more. The Aim still remains the same. Find the switch that opens the Portal that leads you to the next level, but it's not that simple, simply not simple.

Collecting gold gives you Mana that is needed to use variety of abilities such as Blink, Daggers and Slow Motion. Dagger will stun enemy motionless for 5 seconds, buying you the time to escape. Blink is a Short-Distance Teleport and Slow Motions is... well, slow motion. It is usefull only if you you need a little more skill to cross certain traps.

The Camera will be completely at user's hands, Player may rotate the Camera around using Left and Right keys, while Up and Down will control the Zoom.

I shall soon add screenshots of the Maps. Expect it sooner.
